Why do you think phpbay can stop bot attack? My experience is that you still have add your own filters to stop bot attacks.
How is the new phpzon loading speed? My experience with old phpzon and WPMage is that it will slow down page loading, so I delete it (Amazon does not convert too well anyway).

They put the right code in phpBay auction file and nobody complains about bot clicks. On the other hand if you use mage version of eBay tag, there are constant complains in Mage forum about bot clicks, and they have modified it dozen times and problem is still there.
phpBay and phpZon loads very fast if you configure your WP site correctly.
Slow page loading time is related to WP-mage rather than to php plugins.
Also putting 99 listings in one post is ridicules.
I use 6 in one listing, maybe another 6 or 8 in another listing, trying to keep page load under 4-5 seconds.
