Instant Content for Back-dated Posts
Trigger/Unpack Content on auto-generated back-dated posts.
Usually back-dated posts have large number of posts, so it requires different tools to get their content unpacked.
I just discovered new solution, so all new automatically generated posts by Mage or other similar applications will be unpacked WHILE posts are generated.
No need for any Xenu, crawlers, spiders or clickers.
Of course Generation process takes a little longer, but your POSTS will have content from the very beginning, so you can use all those social, RSS, demons, nukes and other things to generate your backlinks right away.
And if backlinks are there, than SE indexing bots will come like crazy, eager to index and rank your pages faster.
Back-dated Posts automatic content unpacking WHILE posts are generated live.
Warning - I would use it only for up-to 100 posts in each run on VPS server.
And the sweet secret is – use Web Traffic RSS Genius WP plugin.
With this plugin installed, activated and correctly configured, if you use Posting Mage, all your posts will have content! It will take a little bit longer, so you better use shorter list of keywords, which you should anyway in order to select the correct Category for eBay and Amazon products to get relevant results.
If you have large number (>50 or >100) of OLD back-dated posts, don't use WTGenius for content unpacking, use Mage Jedi method #2 instead.
I requested that Pause button to be added, and Tim will have it in next upgrade.
So if you have large number of posts to be generated, Pause WTG first, run posting-mage, and then start Genius again.
But once content is loaded (unpacked) then use WTGenius for getting backlinks from RSS aggregators.
This web traffic RSS plugin will give you backlinks and more traffic, unpacking content on back-dated posts while they are generated is a Hidden Benefit for auto-generated posts! And it is fully automatic.
Traffic Genius automatic RSS submission works on existing old posts and newly generated.
And scheduling is via cron, so you don't get banned.
Once is set - then all is automatic. You don't touch it.
And will have double benefit – all back-dated posts will have content right away and you will be getting backlinks from about 20 RSS aggregators, scheduled as per cron settings in Web Traffic Genius.
It will post very naturally to RSS aggregators. You can tell him to submit hundreds of pages (posts), but he will be posting 15 (default - you can edit it) at each run, will pause for 5 -15 minutes between sessions, and with cron setup correctly, it will keep submitting next lot next day, or any days of the week and hours, which you specify in cron setting.
The beauty is, you program it once and it will run automatically for 10 years, getting backlinks each time.
Tim has several detailed videos showing exactly how to do it.

Hi Midox,
I grabbed a copy and watched all of Tim’s setup films but I’m having trouble figuring out the settings to best replace Xenu with WTG.
I admittedly have blogs with more than a few hundred backdated-posts. OK, more like 10,000. -But I SO want to use WTG for the backlinks from RSS directories too.
I’m willing to have it go slower, such as set my cron to only do a few hundred posts a day… Is this feasible? What settings do you suggest exactly for many backdated posts?

You don’t replace xenu-wild with WTGenius.
If you have already sites with large number of old back-dated posts then you should use Mage Jedi method #2 (xenu-wild and ddsg maps), in order to unpack content. Create maps with up to 200 posts for each xenu-wild scan.
Once content is there, then setup WTGenius to submit those pages to RSS aggregators, so you will be getting backlinks automatically. Setting up scheduling cron (takes 5 min) will allow naturally submitting 15 (or you can set it to 30) posts per session. I’m using one session per day at different hours. You can set it for few sessions a day, or every 2 or 3 days. Once you setup WTG, no need to touch it for years.

Hi Mark,
First of all thank you for introducing this excellent method. Do you have any luck on shared hosting running this method? I have yet got to VPS or dedicated server yet, although it looks like a must for WP Mage system.
So you recommend a 100 posts for each each run, right?
Given that there is no pause button now, should I turn on or off WTG when I run Post Mage? I am confused about the “pause” part.

I run on ServInt Signature VPS as you can see in the right sidebar.
If you are posting up to 100 back-dated posts in one run, you can probably keep WTG on.
Tim will add Pause button, which is easier than activate/deactivate, for those who post hundreds of posts in one single run, which is not my style.
Not using Translation will help in either case and you will have better quality content.

Mark,
I went through the videos of WTG last night and learned how to set it up.
So my approach for new site is to activate WTG and deactive simple tag and slick social pro, and run 100 backdate posts each time. It probably takes longer to post 2000 posts because I have to run Post Mage 20 times , but maybe worth it because there is no worry about affiliate accounts being hit and Mage tags.
How do you think about this approach.
